Michigan Breast Specialists

Welcome to Michigan Breast Specialists, the office of Drs. Wesen and Falk. Michigan Breast Specialist was started in 2006 by Dr. Cheryl Wesen. Dr. Wesen is a surgical oncologist whose practice began to specialize in the treatment of all breast related issues. She started Michigan Breast Specialists so all patients, men and women, could be treated in a practice that focuses solely on issues of the breast.

In 2007, Dr. Jeffrey Falk, surgical oncologist, joined Michigan Breast Specialists and Dr. Wesen to help further her goal of offering breast care by breast specialists. Michigan Breast Specialists has grown from a small practice in Grosse Pointe to now having three offices.

The Michigan Breast Specialists also has two midlevel providers, Physician's Assistant Paula Labadie, and Nurse Practitioner, Tracey Hall. They serve as physician extenders to the doctors. A typical visit at Michigan Breast Specialists will start with an encounter by one of the midlevels. The midlevels are also available to answer any questions or see patients when the surgeons are operating.

The support staff at Michigan Breast Specialists is second to none. Our team is highly trained to understand the complexity of breast situations and provides support throughout a patients journey.

Our goal at Michigan Breast Specialists is to treat all patients with compassion and care. We understand the anxiety and fear associated with an abnormal mammogram, a pending biopsy, or a new breast cancer diagnosis. We aim to support and guide you through the entire process of your breast concerns.
